About Me

Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitators help injured, orphaned and sick wildlife get better so that they can return to nature.

My name is Kirsten and I got my NYS Wildlife Rehab license in 2022. I am passionate about rehabbing wildlife and have experience as a veterinary technician, leaving me confident in my capabilities to help all kinds of animals native to New York State!

My first rehabilitated animal was this squirrel that I helped save with my father. Since then, I have been passionate about helping animals. I am so excited for this adventure!

Hall of Fame

Here are the steps we take to get injured animals back in the game!

Intake

I assess the animal's wellbeing and get them the care they need to begin to recover.

Rehabilitation

I work alongside veterinarians to provide tlc while our animals recover.

Release

Once an animal has recovered and is ready to return to the wild, I release them and monitor (from a distance) to make sure they are living their best lives!
